The Stacking Guide
How to Stack Kaiya
There are no rules. But if you want a starting point, here's what actually works.
Earrings
Mix sizes, not styles. A chunky hoop in the first hole and a small stud or huggie above it is the easiest combination. Keep the metals the same — all gold, all the time — and it holds together even when the shapes are very different. Three earrings per ear is the sweet spot before it starts looking busy. Two is classic. One statement piece on its own is always enough.
Necklaces
Layer by length. Start with a short choker or chain sitting at the collarbone, then something mid-length around 45cm, then a longer pendant or chain at 60cm or below. The trick is making sure they don't tangle — different chain weights help with that. A delicate chain won't sit well next to a chunky one. Keep the weight similar across layers.
Rings
Stack on the same finger or spread across fingers — both work. If you're stacking on one finger, mix thin bands with one slightly chunkier piece so they don't all look identical. Knuckle rings are great for filling gaps if you want a fuller look without going too heavy on any one finger.
Bracelets
Stack on one wrist, leave the other bare. Three to five bracelets looks intentional. More than that starts to look like an accident. Mix chain styles and widths but keep the finish consistent — all brushed gold or all polished. Don't mix gold and silver in the same stack if you want it to look considered.
The one golden rule
Wear what you actually like. The best stack is the one you put on without thinking and forget you're wearing. That's the whole point.
