What are your pieces made from?

Depending on the piece, our jewellery is crafted from 925 sterling silver, 316L titanium steel, or brass — all plated in 18k gold using high-quality electroplating. Everything is nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

Is it real gold?

It's real 18k gold plating over quality base metals — not solid gold, and not costume jewellery either. It's the sweet spot: proper jewellery you can actually afford to wear every single day without worrying about it.

Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?

No. Our pieces are designed to resist tarnishing, and every one is nickel-free and hypoallergenic. We haven't had a single complaint about skin reactions. If you have very sensitive skin, try one piece first and see how you get on — but we're confident you'll be fine.

Can I really wear it 24/7?

That's literally the whole point. Kaiya is designed for pieces you put on and forget about — the school run, the office, dinner, sleep, repeat. They're made to keep up with your actual life, not sit in a box waiting for a special occasion.

Can I shower or swim in it?

The occasional splash is absolutely fine — most of our customers wear their pieces constantly and that includes getting caught in the rain. For prolonged exposure like swimming pools, hot tubs, or the sea, it's worth taking them off. But these are not precious-handling pieces.

What's your Lifetime Colour Warranty?

We stand behind our plating. If the colour of your piece changes under normal, everyday wear, get in touch with your order number and we'll sort it. That's our promise — because jewellery you wear daily should still look the part months down the line.

How should I look after my jewellery?

Keep it simple: avoid spraying perfume or applying lotions directly onto your pieces, store them separately when you're not wearing them, and give them a gentle wipe with a soft cloth now and then. That's it. No special cleaning kits required.

How long will delivery take?

UK orders are typically delivered within 3–7 working days. International orders vary depending on your location but usually arrive within 5–14 working days. You'll receive tracking details by email once your order ships. Full details are on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to the UK, US, Europe, and beyond. International customers may be responsible for any customs duties or import taxes charged by their country. These fees aren't included in our prices or shipping costs.

Can I return or exchange something?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return an item, as long as it's unworn and in its original packaging. Just email us at hello@kaiyalondon.com with your order number and we'll walk you through it. No drama.

How do I know what size to choose?

Each product page includes sizing details and measurements. If you're between sizes or genuinely unsure, drop us an email at hello@kaiyalondon.com — we're happy to help you pick the right fit.

Will the jewellery look exactly like the photos?

We photograph everything ourselves and do our best to represent each piece accurately. Slight variations in colour can happen depending on your screen settings, but what you see is very close to what you'll get. No filters, no tricks.

The item I want is sold out — will it come back?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no — it depends on the piece. If you want to be first to know about restocks, join our mailing list. That's where restocks and new drops are announced before anywhere else.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Not officially yet — but if you're ordering as a gift, add a note at checkout and we'll make sure it arrives looking lovely. Every order is packaged with care regardless.
